The best part of Freshman year was when I went to see Never Shout Never in Dallas, TX with my aunt, cousin, and two best friends. It was not a school activity but it did happen freshman year and I will always remember it as that. It's one of my most happiest memories.
The only thing I would change is the way I treated my grades. I disregarded them and now I am working twice as harder than the other kids in class. I sure will remember this next year. Its hard to balance sports and life with school but people have done it for years.
I really didn't know how this year was going to go. I figured it was going to be easy. I found out things about me and the people who will ride with me on the high school journey. I made Three new friends and the bond between one of my friends was completely rebuilt we are closer than we have ever been.
My opinion on Sophomore Year is the same this year was, I hope I meet new people and have fun. But I will miss my friends around here. Especially Stacia, Matt, Hunter, Bobbie, and Chris. Its exciting knowing I will make new friends.
My summer plans are to just chill out. Swim at the lake. My dad says i can have a live band out there so i am going to see if he will let Matt and his band come play.

Historical Event
"In the presidential election of 1860, the Republican Party, led by Abraham Lincoln, had campaigned against the expansion of slavery beyond the states in which it already existed. The Republican victory in that election resulted in seven Southern states declaring their secession from the Union even before Lincoln took office on March 4, 1861. Both the outgoing administration of President James Buchanan and Lincoln's incoming administration rejected the legality of secession, considering it rebellion"- Wikipedia states about commander and chief Abraham Lincoln
The whole thing started on April 12, 1861. There were Blue Jackets and Red Jackets, Confederates vs. The Union, or The North vs. The South, but no matter how it was it was war. Robert E. Lee was commander of the confederates. William Tecumseh Sherman was the leader of the Union.
"The American Civil War was one of the earliest true industrial wars in human history."- Wikipedia. "Government cannot endure permanently half slave, half free..."- Abraham Lincoln.

If I Could Change…
If I could change one thing about the world, it would be that we had peace and everyone loves every one. Christofer Drew has a song called "Love is My Weapon" the lyrics go like this, " Hey everybody take a look around put your money where your mouth is and take your eyes off the ground we've got a hard day coming if we cant work out all the little problems that were fighting about." Yeah i see a whole lot of truth in that.
In the song he goes on to say how can we start the healing process if we cant even stop the problem. It's crazy true because how are we as humans supposed to get along when there is that one person who messes up all the progress. I agree with Chris, we fight but what for?
I think the world needs a big hug. It's time for change, a good change. I think its good that we have people willing to defend us don't get me wrong, but i would rather every body just be happy.
