Function- a preprogrammed Excel formula for a complex calculation

Criteria- a value some text, or an expression that defines the type of cells your looking for

Expression- A sort of equation that returns a value

Nesting- using a function as an argument within another function

Argument- A variable used in a function can be a number, Text , or a formula.

Chart- A graphic that allows you to compare and contrast a data file

Embedded chart- A chart placed as an object

Chart Sheet- a chart that occupies its own wkst

plot- to position data points on a graph

Data series- info. in a wkst column

Legend- A key that identifies each of the data series in a chart

X- axis- a horizontal line in a graph

y-axes- vertical line in a graph

Categories- info. in a wkst row

Chart Area- total area occupied by a chart

Tick Marks- lines of measurement along the value and category axes

Excel Table- data arranged in columns that command you to sort filter and perform other functions on the table.

Structured References- Special labels that refer to a specific data in an Excel Table

Comment- a text note attached to a worksheet cell

Range Name- an identification label assigned to a group of cells

Name box- The text box located to the left of the formula bar.

On another note, This marks my 50th post, I am proud to have made it this far in the school year. I look forward to 50 more posts. So we can celebrate my 100th!

My Dream Spring Break

On spring break this year, I will be going to see NeverShoutNever. Its a one-man-band consisting of the singer Christofer Drew Ingle. The people going will be my aunt Cheryl, Jess, Roianne, and Aalyah. Its one of those road trips. Its all the way in Dallas, TX.

Its my Birthday present to get to see him. His music is very mellow, it could be called hippy music. He uses all the "unpopular" music makers. Such as accordion, ukulele, sanders, and others. Its very unique to say the least.

The trip down there is what is gonna make the trip worth while, spending hours upon hours with the people that you love to death. Its like a hot summer then jumping in a cool lake. Its what some say rejuvenating. I cant wait, I do miss them cause they live so far away.

I am so excited to see Christofer Drew. he is awesome. i am pumped. it will be a blast. he is a hunk also.

i also am looking forward to sharing my stories with other people, such as Matt. we talk a lot. he is like my big brother. i am so pumped. I just cant say it enough.

Creative Writing #10.

The sun was warm on my skin, and knowing all I know about Hollywood's version of the vampire was weak. Really, 'cmon ooh the light will kill you and make you into a pile of dust that's as real as one of us walking up to you and saying "I vant to suck your blood." But possibly it was true I was something greater than me. And possibly I was the true blood link.

I walked into the school room full of people who think I am some goth freak. Although they weren't freaks. I saw Mandy in her chair she was so happy to see all the people. Summer break was nice but she wasn't much of the anti-social. But she is the most beautiful, sweet being in the planet. She pulled her chocolate brown hair in a low ponie-tail.

The beginning of school went fast and it was lunch time. I pulled my special-made lunch out of my bag that my grandma had made for me. I eyed the peanut-butter-and-jelly that had blood caps in it. I bit down and the sweet blood busted in my mouth. It was all so good. Mandy sat beside me and we talked.

School was out and we decided to go on a hike outside of the small town of Hawthorne. Mandy and I always had fun with each other. But it was this day I had to tell her the truth. We were no more than 3feet away from each other.

I whispered " Mandy," she looked up to catch my stare,"Yes Gerard," I had to tell her but was today the rite day? "I love you." she didn't believe that's all I had to say. "If I told you something ba-" she stopped me from speaking, she interrupted "Gerard don't tell me, I love you now like I will forever. And I already know." the look on her face turned serious. "Your a vampire. I knew from all the signs, but all i wanted to know was if you would ever tell me."
