Jack and Heath were cousins who were like brothers. They were married, Jack was with Jill, Heath was with Izzy. When Jack and Heath had to leave they were afraid of leaving their wives behind. Every thing the wives did reminded them of their husbands. As they walked away they counted the steps they would take. They wondered if they could see how much they needed them rite now.
Jack and Heath survived the war and came home to their wives and found that nothing changed.Their side of the bed wasn't made, the sheets not changed, the pajamas that they changed out of still laid on the floor. The rooms still smelt like them.
They were a big happy family. Izzy had her children with Heath. Jill had her children with Jack. It was two full houses, love and happiness was the foundation of their new homes out of the war. There was no way they could be happier.
Their little daughters dragged out an old photo book, there were photos of Heath, Jack, Jill, and Izzy. The little girls were fascinated with everything they found. Izzy saw the photo of the day the men left. Izzy busted in tears and ran out.
Heath ran after her to see what was wrong. Izzy said to Heath,"When your gone the pieces of my heart are missing you, when you are gone all the things I came to know are missing to, when your gone I don't know what else to do." Heath didn't no what to do, he didn't know what to say. He finally looked down to catch her gase, He said," I won't ever leave you again, I love you. I am sorry I left, I will stay rite here." Izzie looked up to him and smiled Heaths' favorite smile.
