The Starting of a New Age

The Pilgrims were a kind people, their interests in pursuing a life where travel was key. They hunted the new lands and they protected each other from the unknown. As time went by their curiosity grew wider and wider. All the sudden one day they found them selves in trouble, they had no food or any shelter and they were ambushed by darker skinned people who spoke a different tongue.

That day was the worse of the Pilgrims days. It started as a normal day, the snow that fell over night was shining when the not so powerful sun hit it. The children ran and had fun while Ma's and Pa's were doing their house work. The parents would send the older children to fetch supplies for the big Sunday diner.

When the families were gathered back up they would get dressed in their best cloths and head to church. These families in the community would gather up go all together. But on this day history would be made in the small village. It was a normal day that went way wrong.

As the children skipped happily to the church singing Christmas songs, they noticed movement in the bushes and stopped. The parents noticed the silence almost immediately and ran to find the children, to their surprise it was a tall tan man teaching the girls a little song.

The Pilgrims were afraid that a complete stranger was so close to their children, they started caring guns and making their children walk with them. It was a frightening day in their life and it made the day seem long and drawed out. The people promised to never let their children come face to face with that sort of danger ever again for as long as they should live.
